The Action & Implementation
Intervention and Evaluation
The employee needed additional support to navigate the trauma of losing a team member. Our disability management support team advocated for counseling services in the employee’s native language. We scheduled a psychiatric evaluation within one month, significantly faster than the typical four to six-month wait time. As a result, the claim was approved just ten days after the evaluation.
Return-to-Work Plan
We provided ongoing support throughout the employee’s treatment, including a referral to the Return to Work (RTW) department. A progressive return-to-work plan was initiated and closely monitored, leading to the employee’s successful return to regular duties one month after the plan began.
